I was impressed with my first visit here! Despite it being a last-minute pedicure appointment, they were able to accommodate me. Whitney, my technician, did an amazing job cleaning up my nails and the leg massage she gave was incredibly relaxing. They also offer a punch card, which is a great incentive. I highly recommend this place!
My nails came out nice, but at the cost of getting cut a few times by the nail tech. She was nice but a little too aggressive when working on my nails. This, resulting in cuts in both my pinky’s and thumb nail. Lastly, the place as a whole wasn’t super cleanly. Not the worst experience I had, but have to be careful. If they cut you, it can lead to infections if their tools are not properly clean.
Don’t go to Alambra. I went there a number of times over the last three years, and I forgave some problems that they caused for me in the past, but after today’s experience, they lost me as a customer.
Here’s why:
- Sick employee. Today, one of the nail technicians was sick with the flu. She said this to the customer seated directly in front of her. Tonight, I started having the chills, warm achy skin, and a headache. Staff should not knowingly expose customers to the flu virus!
- Alambra does not respect your time. Expect to wait five, 10, or 25 minutes or longer for your appointment to start. Today, I arrived 10 minutes before my 4:30pm appointment. By 4:55pm, I was still sitting, waiting indefinitely. I asked the manager how much longer it would be and she flatly said that she no idea. So I left. Wasted nearly an hour of my time.
- Alambra once gave me a pedicure that resulted in a nasty toe infection that lasted for more than two weeks.
- Overall, the quality of their pedicures is fair. But the customer experience is not.
Best manicure I’ve ever gotten. They look like my natural nails. She was so attentive and focused on making them look perfect. Couldn’t be happier. I will definitely be coming here for my next appointment
Went and got a pedicure and an acrylic set it's been exactly a week and the nails are cracking, popping off, and chipping. I wanted all acrylic they did gel over it and it's now coming off. This set was $77 they did not tell me how much it would cost. They also only offer one pedicure that it $45 with nothing special like hot rocks or anything. Also while I was in there they had a lady come in from two ish days before and they had pulled a hang mail which cosmetologist should not be doing and it was infected and she was limping and they said it was normal. These were my birthday nails and they are so messed up. Definitely don't recommend this place.
Ada did a fantastic job with my dip nails. She took her time and really tried to get the design right. She also made my nails look less bulky which seems to be a challenge for other nail salons. Highly recommend this place.
I have had the hardest time finding a nail tech I like since moving here that does good with gel on my natural nail. Whitney just GETS me and she takes the time to make sure the nails are perfect. Her vibe is immaculate, it feels like she takes pride and enjoyment in doing nails and it puts me at ease.
Excellent experience with Monica at Alambra Nails & spa. I got a gel fill after having a bad experience at another place in town. Monica listened to exactly what I wanted-short, round nails. And after I mentioned I had bad cuticles, she took great care in making sure they looked good and she was very gentle about it. I’ve had my nails done at several other, much more expensive places and have hated how my nails turned out each time. I am very, very happy with my experience at Alambra and will definitely be going back. *Note the red lines around my cuticles are from a nail polish I had previously put on to try to hide the bad job I originally had done & not because of anything at Alambra.
Beautiful job. Really nice gel manicure. Nice people. Enjoyed my time there as well.
I loveeeee this nail Salon, went in early so they were able to squeeze me in, but definitely call to make an appointment. The gals take their time and it's worth every minute!
